April Shelter Cat of the Month

This guy has been in the shelter just a week shy of a year. It's way past time to find him a home, yeah?

Korath

UPDATE 4/7: You can now follow Korath's adventures on Facebook.

UPDATE 6/18: KORATH HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!

Look at that face! How can you say no to that face?

Korath is a fun-loving five-year-old boy. He is a bit sensitive to high-pitched noises and particular about his space, so he needs a home that doesn't have super young kids. School-aged children should be fine, though, as long as they have good animal-handling awareness.

He also likes to be the Big Man on Campus and doesn't want to share his space with any creatures of the canine persuasion. In other words, he needs a home with no dogs. For whatever reason, he's not a fan. At all.

He's a big guy with a gorgeous coat and a striking face, but he's got a few strikes against him when it comes to getting adopted since he does have restrictions on the kind of home he can go to. He's pretty independent, but he definitely likes his playtime. And when he's in a cuddly mood, he'll curl up on your lap for a long petting session.

Right now, Korath is living the luxurious life in his own colony room, but once the kittens start rolling in, he'll have to go back into a kennel. It would be so awesome to see him go home before that happens.
