Ramblings

We're taking a short break from school, so my computer has actually been turned off for days in a row. DAYS!

Last year the kid attended the Young Heroes Camp at Great Plains SPCA in Independence. He had a great time and learned cool stuff, even if he did opt out of witnessing the spay surgery.

This year we're going it alone and focusing on music all summer, so that should be...interesting.

BUT this is not a homeschooling blog. So on to the animals!

In case you missed it, Ghost was adopted early this month. Yay!

So far we're doing pretty well, with five of our seven CotM kitties adopted so far. How can we have 7 cats of the month when it's only May? Um...I'm bad at math?

That's not true. I'm actually pretty awesome at math. But I'm bad at rules. Even ones I set for myself. So I cheat.

Hey, it's not my fault there are too many incredible cats needing homes to pick just twelve in a year!

May Shelter Cat of the Month

We've talked about FIV positive cats before, so I won't repeat myself. This month we are featuring a very sweet FIV+ boy who was on death row at a kill shelter until GPSPCA snatched him up.
